This course will get you started with fondant, the roll-out icing that is most popular for wedding and multi-tier cakes.
This course is intended for beginners who have had either little or no experience in working with fondant.
Topics covered in this course include:
- Preparing cakes to be covered with fondant
- Rolling out
- Filling cakes
- Techniques for using fondant other than for covering cakes (including an introduction to modelling and wiring)
Students will complete and take home one round cake during the course.
