This course is intended for beginners who have had either little or no experience in working with fondant.

Topics covered in this course include:

  • Preparing cakes to be covered with fondant
  • Rolling out
  • Colouring
  • Storing
  • Filling cakes
  • Techniques for using fondant other than for covering cakes (including an introduction to modelling and wiring)

Students will complete and take home one round cake during the course.
